This boho romantic photoshoot was styled and captured by the very talented Laura Tait Photography for the lookbook of Kellylin Bridal couture. The effortlessly chic and rustic style can work for a variety of occasions from lazy beach days to garden weddings and is a little different to traditional bridal looks.
We wanted to relate to brides who are free spirited, confident and have a sense of adventure. Long loose hair with little braids that aren’t too tight or perfect are a great match to compliment light lacy boho style bridal dresses. To keep the natural-looking hair waves in place I used a sea salt spray applied to damp hair before blow drying, and a texturising spray after curling it. For a slightly rebellious bohemian bridal look I created soft and dreamy smokey eyes using Urban Decay eyeshadow palette. A shimmer of bronze and a hint of champagne just over the liner adds that extra dimension.
The boho goddess look doesn’t take much to execute. It’s really a matter of using makeup that accentuates your natural features and letting the natural you shine.
